CMC Limited is an
information technology services, consulting and software company having its
headquarters in New Delhi, India.CMC is part of the TATA Group and is owned by
Tata Consultancy Services. CMC was incorporated on 26 December 1975, as the
'Computer Management Corporation Private Limited'.The Government of India held
100 per cent of the equity share capital and owned by government of India. On
19 August 1977, it was converted into a public limited company. In October
2001, CMC was privatized by the Government of India,in a sale to India-based
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the largest software services company in Asia.
It also features on top ten companies in India.
Hi I puja Priyanka. I attended the interview
that was conducted in my college. We are nearly 200 people attended for the
interview and they conducted 3 rounds in my college and last round that was
conducted held company, Chennai.

Round HR, it was conducted in Chennai.
Written Test:
Written Test consists of aptitude and
English. Total 5 sections, 80 questions, total time 60mins, this portion was
quitter easier than technical. All questions are easy to solve but time
consuming.
Group Discussion:
Next round is G.D but they replace Group
discussion to JAM section , In that Section they gave Topic for us and we will
speak about that topic .
Topics covered: child labour, college days,
Holiday spot, online shopping, Women Empowerment etc…
Technical Round:
This is one tough round for me because am
From EEE, they asked some topics related to electrical and software languages
c, c++ . Finally completed this round and move to final HR Round that was
conducted in company, Chennai.
HR Round:
In this round they asked about personal
information, about company, and some questions related to networking. Finally,
I was selected. And they gave me offer letter. In that offer letter they wrote
in response to the interview conducted by CMC LTD (A TATA ENTERPRISE) and a
subsidiary of TCS. they told me to you have 4 months training program on
software courses after that we will take an employee in TCS. But for that
training program you have to pay 9,3000/- + service tax 14% thereafter 6months
contract employee in TCS. and after completion of contract we will take as a
permanent employee. They told in training period we didn’t give any salary,
after joining in job they offer a monthly salary of Rs.8347/- after completion
of contract they offer Rs. 30,000/- salary.
Based on these conditions I was joined in
TCS. they gave 4 months classroom training on C,C++,S.E,RDBMS,MYSQL,C# and
ASP.Net. after completion of training I signed on joining letter and I worked
as a Manual Test Engineer on .NET. after completion of 6 months my contract had
ended.
