Accenture is a well known globalized company through out the globe.It is the one of the leading centralized MNC for both development and IT services. It's a US based company. It having huge various clients in many fields like engineering, medical and service supported projects.It's having a huge number of employee working on different fields from different locations to give a perfect result to the customers.
Interview Experience:
Hi everyone! I am Nikhil Chakravarthy and I got hired in Accenture recently. I am here to share my interview experience with Accenture. Even I was an unemployed candidate up to march 2016. I am really thankful to AMCAT which became the backbone for me. I had a good percentile and AMCAT score. I wrote it in December 2014. Even though I was idle for almost a year, my past interview experiences helped me a lot.
I attended interview for Accenture on March 19th 2016 at MVIT College, Bangalore. As Accenture required fresher candidates of 2015 and 2016, I was also shortlisted for the interview.
It was just like a combination of technical and HR rounds. There were 2 members in the panel. One was male and the other was female. 4 candidates were sent into the interview room in the sequence of token numbers. There were 2 girls and 2 boys in the room (including me).
Initially they conducted a self intro round among all of us. By the time we were telling, they were screening our resumes. After the completion of each candidate based on our interests and hobbies which are kept in the resume, questions were asked.
For example, a girl sitting beside me kept photography as her interest. The male HR started sequential questions. I think she actually kept for normal sake. But due to advanced questions, she was unable to answer them. Hence, she didn’t answer them.
As I kept CARS in my interests, he started questioning about cars. The very first question was what was the latest car into the market? I asked him to mention a brand name so that I can say the latest model in that brand. Then he said BMW. I answered immediately without any delay. After that, he asked what is my favourite car? I said that there are 2. But he said to tell about only one. I immediately answered ASTON MARTIN. He asked the reasons why I like it? I told nearly 4 reasons which created a positive opinion on me. HR smiled at me as I was shooting the answers. Later, he asked me about my home town details and family background. I answered them quickly. Later, he asked my academic project and the challenges that I had faced during the project. As I am from electrical background, I made a MATLAB project. The time I told my project title, as it was very big one seeing my confidence he said to stop it. Later I told my challenges during project execution. This went as a technical round. The lady HR asked me to tell something about Accenture. I thought I was finished. Because I didn’t see the company’s profile. But I answered it accordingly about the things I have known and the caption of the company. She smiled as if I answered shortly. Finally, as a finishing touch, all 4 of us were given a topic for JAM. The topic for discussion was WOMEN ARE BETTER MANAGERS. I delivered it very clearly showing the
examples of Chanda Kochar and Arundathi Battacharya. That’s all. After that we were asked to wait in the seminar hall. Hence, I got selected.
The things that I think hired me are my fare behavior and being frank and spontaneity. My sincere advice for all of you is to read company’s profile before attending an interview because you know what you are going to be asked. And do write AMCAT or ELITMUS because they can save you during hard times.
And a good thing about Accenture is it had got the best hiring team who are very friendly. But be careful while answering questions. Because they have the capability of reading the faces. Not only that, Accenture provides a world class training with a new learning approach. Hence do keep these points in mind guys. Wish you all the very best!!!
